IT MNCs provide different benefits to the employees,
such as professional development fees, meal coupons, medical benefits, Provident
Fund, NPS, house rent allowance and conveyance fees. While some startups also
provide a few of these standard benefits, there is a difference in the range of
medical/health benefits offered by companies, besides medical
insurance.
In this Publicis Sapient company review, I am
discussing different medical benefits the organization offers.
- Self,
spouse & children medical Insurance: Employees can avail floater of insurance for diseases,
hospitalization and daycare surgeries for the whole family. Accidental
life insurance is also covered. During COVID in 2021, I remember Publicis
Sapient provided financial assistance to many employees' families as
well.
- Parents’ medical insurance: Employees
can avail of medical insurance for parents and parents-in-law. All critical
illnesses are covered from day one and are available at comparatively
lower market prices.
- Counselling: Counselling on various life issues is available
for employees, such as relationships, parenting challenges, mental
well-being and stress management. Sometimes we need a mentor who
understands the corporate world and can relate to similar challenges.
Taking anonymous advice from PS's internal Mental Wellbeing Ambassadors
(MWA) is a solution to the above situation.
- Maternity
& paternity (birth, adoption and surrogacy): All types of parenthood are covered by the medical
benefits of PS. People can take leaves for a natural birth, adoption,
miscarriage, surrogacy and illness arising in pregnancy. 10 days of
paternity leaves can be taken for the birth/adoption of a child by
full-time/part-time employees.
- Covid reimbursement: Covid-induced hospitalization
and home quarantine are covered separately for PS employees.
- Sick leaves: Employees can take sick leaves for themselves, spouses, kids and even pets.
Above are some of the medical benefits
provided to the employees. Besides this, different situations are also
addressed such as taking care of special needs children and being a disabled
person's caregiver. It is also worth reading Publicis Sapient reviews on Quora,
where overall benefits for PS employees are discussed.
