Freshers:
Freshers are a clean slate who learn, train and work in a technology project. After a year of working in the industry, they understand the culture and wish to try different roles. Freshers can grow a lot in 5 years through technology change and upskilling.
Here is an example: If you are working as a front-end developer in Publicis Sapient, start learning newer technologies complementary to your existing technology stack. Participate in Hackathons and change project/organization eventually. If you have upskilled in trending technologies, you may get a good salary and career growth.
For
8-12 years’ experienced people:
Expectations are high from 8–12-years’ experienced people as they are subject matter experts in their fields. Your 5-year career aim should be leadership roles. You can do a year-long course/certification from Top B schools like IIM and look for work responsibilities. Company work culture plays an important part in internal career transition, so they may have to search outside the organization.
